From I-81, the route uses exit 317 for US-11, VA-37 South/Martinsburg Pike, US-50 West/Northwestern Pike, and Dolan Drive. Hardy County visitors should confirm the appointment and road time before leaving Moorefield because the jail is outside the county.

Visit Potomac Highlands Inmates

Potomac Highlands posts non-contact visitation rules. Visits must be scheduled one day in advance by calling (304) 496-7057 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday visits. Appointments are first-call, first-served and may not be scheduled at the window. Offenders are allowed one visit per month. One visit can include two adults or one adult and two children.

Visitors must arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled visit, register when entering, and show valid photo ID such as a driver's license, DMV photo ID, or passport. Minors need a birth certificate and must be with a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult using the signed and notarized juvenile visitation form. Facility notaries cannot notarize that juvenile form. Dress must be appropriate, and the shift supervisor decides close calls.
